Uninstalling the Assembly Browser Extension from Chrome

Finished with Assembly Universal Workplace Search? Here’s how to remove the browser extension from your browser so you can return to your old browsing habits.

Uninstalling from the Puzzle Piece Icon

Look for the puzzle piece icon on the top right corner of your Chrome Browser.

  1. Click on the Puzzle Piece Icon
  2. Look for Assembly - Universal Workplace Search in the list
  3. Click on the More Actions icon (three vertical dots) and select “Remove from Chrome”

Once removed, please take a few moments to tell us why you left so we can make the extension work better for you and users like you.

Uninstalling from the Chrome Web Store

Navigate to the Assembly - Universal Workplace Search listing in the Chrome Web Store by clicking this link. Once there, click “Remove from Chrome”.

Uninstalling from your Chrome Extensions Panel

Navigate to the Chrome Extensions panel by following these instructions.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More (three vertical dots). Then Click More tools, then Extensions.

Or copy this link into your address bar: chrome://extensions/

Once there you should see Assembly - Universal Workplace Search amongst your other browser extensions.

Begin removing the extension by:

1. Clicking Remove on the Assembly extension card.

2. Clicking Remove again on the dialog that pops up on the top right of your screen.
